Ricard Lockner wins again, 14 years later
Ricard Lockner won the 2024 US Masters with 379 over 12 rounds, two strokes ahead of Brian Johnson. Greg Ward, Gary Hester and Frank Bisesi tied for third at 383. It was Lockner's second title, 14 years after the first.
The lead changed hands often. Adam Shanks led after two rounds, Lockner after three, Bisesi after four and Hester after rounds five and six. Johnson led after round ten and shared the lead with Rainey Statum after round eleven.
Lockner went into the last round three behind in third. Lockner closed with a 29 on Rumble, while Johnson shot 34 and Statum 38.
Johnson had a 26 on Aloha, equalled by Jack Taylor and Vanette Block for the low round of the week. Twelve of the 80 players came from outside the US.
